NAKISHIMA STYLE DESIGN GALLERY I have handcrafted each piece of furniture that I create with one idea in mind. That you will treasure your selection and it will become a cherished family heirloom. My furniture and accessories are built to last for years to come. The style of my work is a classic that all generations will appreciate.
I have long admired and been attracted to the beautiful artistry of George Nakishima. I am fortunate that I have several clients that also admire his style of furniture, his unique artistic philosopy and his love of wood and trees. Pictured below are a few photographs of work that I have done using slabs of Claro Walnut that were particularly suited this style. I highly recommend reading his book, "The Soul of a Tree, A Woodworkers Reflections". It is one of my favorites.
